Whoever told her to film, probably should have made sure she knew how to use the phone. A mother in New Mexico has gone viral after she hilariously filmed her future son-in-law's proposal the wrong way. When Susan Griego found out her daughter's boyfriend was planning on proposing, the mother was given the task of recording the moment. The daughter, Amber Griego, was visiting the Albuquerque Biopark with her boyfriend Benjamin Steele Bacon and Susan Griego in tow. The couple say visiting the Biopark and especially the penguin exhibit is special to the two of them so Bacon knew this was the spot where he would get down on one knee. When the big moment happened, Susan started too recording. Unfortunately for the couple they didn't show Susan how to use the phone and she started recording the the proposal in selfie mode instead.

Here's what Susan Griego told KOB News about the big moment:

“I couldn’t figure out how to work it and I’m taking a selfie of myself and I realize I’m filming myself instead of them and I’m laughing and we’re all laughing and I guess I’m not very good at photography.”

Lucky for Susan, the couple say the way mom took the video was perfect and was "wacky and random" just like their relationship. Read more about this story at the KOB website and see the video below.
