California may have Hollywood and Disneyland, and Arizona may have the Grand Canyon but the Lone Star State topped the list of states with Instagrammable spots. There are plenty of beautiful places in every state you can visit and snap a gorgeous photo visiting. Social media allows people to go and visit these sites with you, and share visuals from your experiences. Some states have more spots than others, and apparently, Texas has most of all.

The travel guide and list website Big Seven Travel looked at all 50 states to see which states had the most popular Instagrammable spots. Travel experts voted on various sites, as well as analysts looking at hashtags and social to see which are the most popular, according to the Statesman. Seven spots in Texas made the top of the list:

  1. Rio Grande
  2. Blanton Museum of Art
  3. Palo Duro Canyon State Park
  4. Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
  5. Graffiti Park Houston
  6. Pegasus Plaza- Dallas
  7. Hamilton Pool Natural Preserve

After Texas is New York at number 2 then California at number 3 and finishing off the top five are Hawaii and Florida. You can check out the entire list at the Big Seven Travel website.
