Closed For The Thanksgiving Holiday- What Stores Will Be Closed
While Black Friday and Thanksgiving were the time people would line up to grab great discounts at stores, some are now saying no more! Find out which here. It seems like the holiday of Thanksgiving has gone through a cycle. Thanksgiving started out as a holiday about being with family, friends and enjoying great food to go with that company. It then turned into a consumer holiday for retail stores. Instead of lounging with friends, people scarfed down their food to rush and even camp out at storefronts at the chance to save money on material items. While some love waiting in long lines to save some cash for Christmas, others detested the idea that this American holiday went from celebrating family to finance. Now, we are seeing more and more businesses standing in unity with the people who want the holiday to go back to its traditional roots. The businesses are giving their workers and customers a day to relax at home and enjoy other people's quality time. So far, the website Best Black Friday has found 77 major retailers who are telling their workers to stay home this holiday.
