Babymetal to Document Historic Concert With ‘Live at Wembley’ Album
Babymetal won’t let 2016 go without another release! The pop-metal phenoms will unleash the live album, Live at Wembley, on Dec. 9.
Make sure your Christmas stockings are wide enough to fit a CD. Live at Wembley will document Babymetal’s debut U.K. arena show at the SSE Arena, where the band played in front of 12,000 fans. With the Wembley performance, Babymetal became the first Japanese artist to perform a headlining show at SSE and actually broke the merchandise sales record at the venue.
Babymetal have given fans a live album before with Live at Budokan, but this will be the first concert release to feature tracks from the group’s sophomore album, Metal Resistance. You can check out a trailer for Live at Wembley above, which shows a rabid British crowd along with one of Babymetal’s most elaborate stage setups to date.
Check out the track listing for Live at Wembley below. The 13-track live CD will be released Dec. 9 with a digital version available Dec. 30.
