We certainly had enough sex talk on the show today, so why not keep talking about lady parts? There's a firm called Embrace Pangaea selling "Herbal Womb Detox Pearls." They claim these herbal pearls (and no, not the good kind of herb) aids to correct conditions like endometriosis, ovarian cysts and thrush.

The small balls of perfumed herbs sell anywhere from $85 to $480. Another claim of the pearls are they promote vaginal tightening, which they say does so by tightening the womb, which then causes the vaginal canal to shrink.

In a shocking turn of events (sarcasm folks), a gynaecologist named Dr. Jen Gunter wrote a blog post about how not only are these balls ineffective at what they claim, but also can ultimately be dangerous. BTW, if you're a guy and don't want to see some gross stuff, DO NOT scroll down in her blog. I took that one for the team so you didn't have to.

Women, she makes points in her blog that your uterus and vagina want to be left alone. Like most other organs in the body, we've evolved to the point they can take care of them selves. And also that leaving a bag of anything in your vagina for 3 days is dangerous and smelly. Seriously, it's right after this part that the gross pictures pop up. It looks like a dead rat!! Don't say I didn't warn you.

So the bottom line ladies, is there are good things you can do down south for yourself. Leaving an herb sack in there for 3 days, is certainly not one of them.
