The Elks Lodge CASI Chili Cook-off is This Saturday

San Angelo Elks Lodge 1880 is hosting a CASI-sanctioned chili cook-off this Saturday, June 20th.

This is a great opportunity to earn points for anyone looking to compete at the International Championship Chili Cook Off in Terlingua, TX.

All proceeds are going to the Elks sponsored summer camp for special needs children  in Ottine, Texas and sponsored by the Texas State Elks Association.

The San Angelo Elks Lodge 1880 is located at 2121 S. Chadbourne.

Registration for competitors starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The cost is $18 for chili and $5 for beans. Beans will be judged at noon and Chili judging is at 2 p.m.

The lodge will be holding a raffle immediately following the award ceremony.
