Well this is just lovely.

According to a study by wallethub.com, Texas Is 2018’s 4th most sinful state.

Every state has its virtues and vices. But 'sinful' behavior results in big time economic costs.  Gambling addiction, for instance, costs the U.S. $5 billion per year.  Smoking costs over $300 billion per year.

So, right around the most sinful time in America, Mardi Gras, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released its report on 2018’s Most Sinful States.  To determine where the U.S. has the most moral growing to do, WalletHub compared the 50 states based on seven sinful behaviors: anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.

In this reporter's opinion, we just aren't trying hard enough here in Texas.  Let's shoot for #1 next year.  :)
