I know I've said this on the air before and I'll say it again, I'm very pro bullet train. Travelers United has a nice article about the pros of trains over planes HERE.

The bottom line is how much of a hassle it has become to fly, and how much easier it is to take a train. If you're worried about the time aspect, all you have to do is account for the amount of time you have to be at the airport early just to get through the TSA checkpoint. Plus, on trains you can use your phone, there's chargers everywhere, you have lots of leg room, and more.

So when I see that Trump has made the Texas bullet train a priority, I'm all for it. Granted, it doesn't look like this bullet train will help us very much here in West Texas, but it's at least a start.

“President Trump’s increased attention on the nation’s infrastructure rightly signals that more can be done, in both the public and private investment sectors. The Texas project is pleased to be considered among the nation’s infrastructure priorities,” said Texas Central, the company building the bullet train, in a statement Tuesday evening.

This bullet train would connect Dallas to Houston, and will make the 240 mile trip in 90 minutes. Oh, and it'll also create 40,000 jobs. Not too shabby.
