The Showdown in San Angelo Drag Boat Races are this Sat & Sun, June 26th & 27th and we will offer you the opportunity to save some money on admission this Wednesday & Thursday.

Make plans to join us this Wednesday, June 23rd at your neighborhood Walmart on Knickerbocker (headed toward Lake Nasworthy) as we broadcast live giving you a great deal on purchasing tickets during our two hour broadcast  from 4 - 6 pm. Buy two weekend passes and receive a free cooler pass! We will also have some weekend passes to give away during our broadcast. There will be a number of boats from different classes along with some drivers for you to check out. Shannon Hospital Children's Miracle Network will be there as well with a huge kickoff for this year's CMN campaign.

This Thursday, the 24th we will have another opportunity for you to take advantage of the same deal of buying two weekend passes and receive a free cooler pass as we broadcast live from the Spring Creek Marina store from 5 - 7 pm! We will also have some weekend passes to give away during our broadcast there as well.

The races are going to be awesome as always. Avid boat racing fans remember not being able to attend last year's races because of COVID-19 so it's time to make up for having missed last year's racing action.

The gates will open for spectators at 7 am each day with racing each day from 8:30 to 5. A Chapel service will be held at 8 am on Sunday. The Showdown will be live streamed by Bangshift.com.

Tickets are $20 for Saturday, $25 for Sunday and $40 for the weekend. Kids 12 and under are free. Cooler charges are $20 for the weekend (no glass please). VIP tickets, which include breakfast and lunch each day along with premier covered seating, are available for $125. You can get your tickets at the SDBA web site and at Spring Creek Marina.

We have even more free Showdown in San Angelo tickets to give away on the radio and facebook.

Showdown In San Angelo is brought to you by the Southern Drag Boat Association.
