Max Muncy Gets Into It With Bumgarner After Homer

Which side are you on? The old school purist side of shut up and just trot out your home run? Or the new school side where you get to pimp it out?

Clearly the San Francisco Giants Madison Bumgarner is old school, while the Dodgers Max Muncy is new school.

After crushing a home run out in to McCovey Cove, Max Muncy stopped and admired his handy work. Something that pitcher Madison Bumgarner was not a big fan of. Apparently the exchange went as follows.

Madison Bumgarner - "Don't watch the ball, you run."

Max Muncy - "If you don't want me to watch the ball, you can get it out of the ocean."

I tend to lean towards the old school way of just trot out your home run. There's no need for you to show up the pitcher even more, but the response from Muncy is absolutely brilliant.
