Politically, we are in very tumultuous times in the country and especially in Texas. There are heated political races happening all over the country and many have passionate opinions and views. While many are excited about getting their voices heard, some haven't realized they aren't actually registered to vote. Today is the LAST DAY for Texans to register to vote. Texans have until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to register. Here are some steps for you to figure out if you're registered to vote and if you're not, how you can before the deadline passes.

Are You Able To Vote In Texas?

To vote in Texas, you must:

  1. U.S. citizen
  2. A resident of the county you submitted the application for
  3. 18 or older by election day
  4. Not a convicted felon

How To Find Out If You're Registered To Vote

You can check your voter registration status through the Texas Secretary of State website. Also while there, make sure that your name and address are correct. If not, make sure to make any changes necessary before the deadline.

How To Register

Print and fill out an application in English or Spanish. Make sure that the finished application is mailed out before midnight tonight.
