It’s MLB Opening Day! Here Are Some Weird Ballpark Foods
The 2019 Major League Baseball season is here! It's time to look at some of the weird foods you can find in the ballparks across the country.
- The Fowl Pole - This is a 2 POUND chicken tender that comes with ranch and honey mustard. (Texas Rangers)
- The Dinger Dog - A foot long pig in a blanket that is stuffed with cheese. (Atlanta Braves)
- The Coney Dog Egg Roll - A chili dog, but without the bun. Yup, you guessed it. It's stuffed in an egg roll. It also has onions and mustard on top. (Detroit Tigers)
- Twisted Top Pretzels - There's 3 pretzel twists with pepperoni and cheese on top. You can also get buffalo chicken or bacon and cheese on top as well. (St. Louis Cardinals)
- Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwich - This one is pretty self explanatory, but it comes with jelly-glazed bacon on toasted sourdough. (Minnesota Twins)
- Avocado Bites - They're deep fried bites of avocado with a spicy dipping sauce. (New York Yankees)
- The Pittsburgh Cone - It's a waffle cone with sausage, pierogis, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing stuffed inside. (Pittsburgh Pirates)
- The Fritos Pie Corn Dog - A foot long hot dog, covered in crushed up Fritos, with queso and Texas chili. (Houston Astros)
- The Donut Burger - A bacon cheeseburger with cherry pepper jam, and glazed donuts for buns. (Philadelphia Phillies)
- 18 Inch Hot Dogs - When a footlong isn't enough. There are three available. One with Reuben mac-and-cheese, a bratwurst version topped with mac-and-cheese, and a breakfast version that is topped with hash browns, bacon, fried eggs, cheese, and gravy. (Arizona Diamondbacks)
