First Look at the Star Wars Hotel at Disney World

It's been a week filled with lots of awesome nerd updates, and this one might be the best. Disney is building a hotel in Orlando that is going to be a completely immersive Star Wars experience. 

Both adults and kids can now wield a light saber and take on a training remote. Your room, that can sleep up to 5, has a window out into space. Space! Yes, I know it's not real, but that's the fun of Disney. Engulf yourself completely in the make believe and live wholeheartedly in imagine.

Guests of the hotel will also be able to take a transport straight from the hotel and emerge in Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. You can also tour the bridge of the 'ship', which is where the navigation and weapons controls are.

The hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is set to open in 2021 and will start taking reservations coming up at the end of the year.
