16 Minutes of Missed Sleep Can Ruin Your Day
I found another article about sleep, so of course I need to post about it in the hopes that Buzz sees it.
The next time you are binge watching a TV show and are trying to decide whether or not to watch one more episode, just think about this. Just 16 minutes of missed sleep can ruin your entire day.
According to a study out of the University of South Florida, researchers found that people who got just 16 minutes less than usual had a tough time focusing and processing information the following day.
This was during the weekdays, when the study was monitored during the weekend the effect was smaller.
So next time you think to yourself, "If I go to bed now, I can still get almost the same amount of sleep I normally do", just go to bed. You'll be saving yourself a lot of aggravation the next day.
