On their last album, Mark of the Blade, Whitechapel introduced fans to the idea of clean singing within the band. This element has been retained on their forthcoming record, The Valley, and can be heard on their new single, "Third Depth."

The deathcore innovators have found new ways to reinvent themselves with each release and this song expands the sonic territory charted by the Tennessee natives. "Third Below" is airy and ethereal, residing in a metallic purgatory fraught with tension.

Take a listen below.

"Sound-wise, it's all over the place," said singer Phil Bozeman about the new album. "There's aggression, and then you're hit with ominous and emotional guitar riffs. It's mean, but then transfers to soft and inviting. It's a whirlwind of emotions throughout."

The Valley, Whitechapel's seventh full length album, will be released on March 29 through Metal Blade. The group will embark on a month-long U.S. tour in mid-April and you can see the complete list of stops below.
