In what has been a ceaseless stream of rumors regarding the final Guns N' Roses lineup as they inch closer to their April 8 show in Las Vegas, the world-famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood has poured fuel on the already red-hot fire. With the announcement that former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler had canceled his upcoming appearance on April 1, came the promise of a "big announcement."

The news came from the Whisky A Go Go's Twitter page, sending out an image (seen below) of the Steven Adler skull caricature behind a striking red cancel symbol. Underneath read the text, "The Steven Adler show on 4/1 has been canceled. Stay tuned for a big announcement ! #GunsNRoses." Adler has been rumored to be involved in at least a part of the lineup featuring the reunion of Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. Radio host Eddie Trunk stated, “My sources have told me current GnR drummer Frank Ferrer will be retained and play the bulk of the show, with perhaps a guest appearance from Steven Adler if a deal can be worked out.”

Last week, a drum head signed by members of Guns N' Roses surfaced at an auction to raise money for the Flint, Mich. water crisis. The signatures of Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer appeared on the drum head, notably missing keyboard player/multi-instrumentalist Chris Pitman. The return of Izzy Stradlin has been ruled out as the guitarist stated he will not be taking part.

Guns N' Roses have scheduled six dates on their tour so far, and Axl reportedly told a fan he's planning a whole world tour. The first date will be April 8 and 9 in Las Vegas followed by their first Coachella festival appearance the next weekend as well as two stops in Mexico before returning for their second performance at Coachella.
