Veterans Day is Friday, November 11th. It is a federal holiday that honors all veterans of the armed services. Anyone who served or is still serving, whether it was in peacetime or times of war s honored on this day.

All six branches of the military are included: Army, Marine Corps,Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.

The original Vetarans Day arose out of the end of World War I, which was at the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, Originally, it was called Armistice Day. It was formally changed to Veterans Day in 1954.

  • IHOP: Offering veterans and active duty military free Red, White & Blue Pancakes from 7AM-7PM at participating locations for dine-in service only on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. Military ID or proof of service is required.
  • Logan’s Roadhouse: Honoring America’s heroes this Veteran’s Day, Friday, Nov. 11 by offering active and retired service members a free meal off its Veterans Day menu.
  • Perkins Restaurant & Bakery: Offering active duty, retired military, and veterans a free Magnificent Seven meal. To receive the offer, please present a valid military I.D. on Friday, November 11, 2022.
  • Peter Piper Pizza: Peter Piper Pizza celebrates our veterans every day by offering a 10% discount for dine-in only.
