I was shopping at our neighborhood Market Street grocery store in San Angelo on Sunday afternoon. When I got back to my vehicle in the parking lot, I noticed the car pictured above parked next to mine.

The one thing that caught my attention was the Venmo account name scribbled in shoe polish just below where it says, "Just Married". So, is this a thing now? Are you supposed to put your Venmo account handle on your Just Married display on the back of your car?

Am I supposed to send money to people I do not know who just got married? I offer would offer them my congratulations if I saw them get into their car in the parking lot, but is that not enough now?

What about if I was driving behind them and saw their sign? It could be dangerous for people to take out their phone and pull up their Venmo app while at the wheel? Did this couple think of that? I also wonder if this is some sort of scam. Could people be putting "Just Married" on the back of their cars and not be just to get free money?

I showed this picture to my brother. He said they are probably millennials being lazy and tacky. That could be a safe assumption.

Well luckily for me, I do not have Venmo. I had a bad experience with it and now use another app to send money to people. So, I was unable to donate to this couple's honeymoon, but I do wish them the best along with a happy and a successful marriage. I hope that will suffice in lieu of a Venmo payment.

So, what do you think of this couple putting their Venmo account name on their "Just Married" sign on the back of their car? Would you send them money? Feel free if you like. Their account name is in the picture. Let us know if you do on Facebook or chat with us on our station app.
