We Have the Trailer for the Movie About the Worst Movie Ever
I Know a lot of you read that title and thought, "Ah, the Manos: The Hands of Fate project is finally off the ground." No, not THAT worst movie ever. I'm talking about this little gem:
Yes, 2003's The Room by auteur Tommy Wiseau. The mind-melting bad acting. The obvious green-screen used for scenes that in NO WAY NEEDED TO BE GREEN SCREENED! The lead actor pretending to be a 33 year old when he's in fact 50. Or, according to some sources, closer to 60. Or, if you subscribe to my theory, actually a 3,000 year old Nosferatu who feeds on the ironic laughter of hipsters.
Needless to say The Room has become a cult favorite. In 2013 Tommy Wiseau's friend and co-star, Greg Sestero, wrote and award-winning book about the making of the film. In 2015 it was announced that Seth Rogen and James Franco would make a big budget movie about the making of The Room. Which brings us to the trailer. It is great.
