Upcoming Blood Drives In San Angelo

Now more than ever, your individual donations are greatly needed as two more blood drives are being held next week in San Angelo.

Vitalant is currently testing all donors for COVID-19 ANTIBODIES. Whether you’re eligible to give whole blood, Have recovered from COVID-19 and can donate convalescent plasma, or can host a blood drive, you are making a difference and saving lives.

Blood donors only need to be at least 16 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be healthy. Sixteen year old donors must present a minor donor permit signed by a parent or guardian. To get the form, just go to vitalant.org.

Next week's blood drive includes the following locations and schedule:

Wed, Jan 20th - Shannon South (formerly Community Medical Center) from 10 am – 6 pm in the conference/classrooms. Donors receive their choice of 2 movie passes, a $10 Gift Shop Gift Certificate or a $10 Cafeteria Voucher.

Sat, Jan 23rd – Sunset Mall from 11 am – 4:15 pm in the Community Room next to Conn’s. Donors receive food coupons courtesy of Chick Fil A, Charley’s Philly Steaks, Sonic & Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.
