British glam rockers the Darkness will be making their return to the United States this Spring with the announcement of the 'Back to the USSA' tour. The group will be out in support of Last of Our Kind, their fourth studio album, which was released in May of last year and yielded singles like the anthemic "Barbarian" and "Open Fire."

Known for one of the most electrifying live shows in rock, the quirky quartet put on an entertaining performance keeping fans' heads on a swivel as each member embodies the spirit of the '80s when glam reigned supreme. Frontman Justin Hawkins is eager to return stateside, exclaiming, "The Darkness are primed to continue their campaign of world domination. If music and good times are in your soul, come see us perform live. A Darkness show is a place where believers come together, where fluids are shared and dreams are built. But most importantly, rock and roll is crowned king EVERY NIGHT!"

The trek will kick off on April 8 in Santa Cruz for the first of five California dates before heading East making stops along the way before closing it out in Boston, Mass. on almost a month later on May 4. Red hot upstart rockers RavenEye will support on all dates for the run. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased here for any of the 19 stops.

In October of 2015, Hawkins revealed he had contemplated changing the band's name as 'the Darkness' didn't truly fit the band and said, “I mean every idea you have is either crowd sourced or crowd approved. You need to be addressing what your fans want because at the end of the day that’s what you’ve got. … What we’re trying to harvest here is to have our fanbase have a sense of ownership over what we’re doing and if they name the band, that’s even better, isn’t it? It’s like when you adopt a homeless puppy, the first thing you do is give it a name. So we’re like the musical equivalent of a homeless puppy.”
