With Hurricane Harvey being front and center of the news over the past week or so, Scott and I felt it was a good time to talk about our hurricane stories. Scott grew up in Louisiana, and I lived in Florida for 8 years.

I moved to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami in 2005, which was the summer of Katrina, Rita, Wilma. It seemed like there was some sort of a storm watch or warning every week that whole summer. It was so active, I was asking people around the office if it was normal or not. The answer I always got by the way was a solid "no".

So Scott and I go into some of our stories about the hurricanes we'd been through. Everything from signs flying over my car, to signs flying into out building, to someone at Scott's work driving to the radio station's tower to broadcast (with no info or really anything to do).
