The Shannon Trail Series 2021 is gearing up to bring you three great races on three different courses in the San Angelo area once again this year with Race #1 being held Saturday, January 23rd starting at 8 am.

The 2021 Trail Series starts Sat, Jan 23rd and continues through February 20th.

The 3-race trail Series is sponsored by Shannon Medical Center & hosted by the San Angelo Road Lizards. You will have a number of choices available to you with Short and Long course options and you will be enjoying a different course for each race.

The Short course is 5K for all three races. Long course is 10K,12K & 15K.

Race #1 - January 23rd. The first course in the Shannon Trail Series will be held in Middle Concho Park which has a magnitude of trails behind it. This is often thought of as the most difficult course of the trail series!

Race #2 - February 6th. The second course of the Shannon Trail Series is located at the San Angelo State Park, starting at Chaparral Pavilion. This course is mostly dirt trails, with some rocks occasionally on the hills.

Race #3 - The third and final course of the trail series takes place at San Angelo State Park near the Burkett Trailhead. This course is rockier than the second race, and has a few more hills.
