A Texas mother has been arrested after allegedly having her 7 year-old son drive her car because she was too drunk to drive.

This is a case where teamwork didn't make the dream work for a mother and son duo when they attempted to team up and drive a car.

A 41 year-old mother from Lufkin, Texas has been arrested for allegedly letting her young son drive her car when she was drunk. Carrie Lynn Fink let her 7 year-old son Clayton sit on her lap to help her drive. While she worked the pedals and Clayton steered, the two crashed into a fence in Lufkin on December 8th. Fink told police she drank too much wine and thought her son would be able to drive better than her. An employee at a nearby business witnessed the crash and saw the mother operating the vehicle while Clayton steered right before the crash. When she was arrested she was unable to walk properly. Fink was charged with child endangerment and driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15 in the car.
