Ted Cruz Spotted Traveling to Cancun While Texans Freeze

Gotta love seeing one of our states leaders preparing to flee the state on a "family vacation" while the entire state just happens to be in the middle of a major crisis.

I don't know if you noticed, but half the city is without power, and half the city is without water, and parts of the city are without both.

Millions across the state do not have power and ERCOT is offering no resolution, but one of our Senators decided that it was the perfect time to travel with his family to Mexico.

A photo of Cruz boarding a plane to Cancun went viral yesterday as Texans raised the question: "Hey, where do you think you're going?"

Maybe instead of vacationing at this point, you could stay here and I don't know, try to help the millions of people that are suffering in your state.

Maybe you should do the responsible thing and at least make a statement about the situation millions of people are going through. It is your job to help the people of Texas, and right now we need your help.

I'm not saying that Ted Cruz has the power to fix everything but that's not the point. This looks cowardly, and it looks like he's literally turning his back on the people of Texas.

Whether you support the guy or not, I just don't feel like this is the time to be doing this.
