Steel Panther have unveiled their latest guitar pedal, the Poontang Boomerang. This is the group's second guitar pedal - the first was the infamous Pussy Melter, which was banned from resale on Reverb.

The Poontang Boomerang is a digital delay pedal named after a song from their album Lower the Bar. The pedal has a toggle switch that can be set on either "G Day" or "Crikey," and there are four tone settings for guitarists of all genders - "Distance," "Feedback," "Dry" and "Wet." The pedal can be pre-ordered here. See an image below.

The band is currently fighting for freedom of speech as their first model guitar pedal, the Pussy Melter, was banned from being sold by a fan on Reverb. Reverb said to the seller, “We understand what this pedal does. In this case, the imagery and the pedal itself is what we do not allow on our site.” See a video on the topic below.

The band offered an official statement following the ban:

“We heard from people all over the world that the eargasms they got from the Pussy Melter were amazing and that they only wanted more. Up to face any challenge, the scientific team of Steel Panther hunkered down in the lab only to re-emerge having created the world’s greatest digital delay pedal that would keep the sensations repeating for any guitarist male, female, non-binary and/or gender fluid over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...GET IT? It’s a delay pedal silly!

As for Reverb.com, we think its ridiculous that they are biased towards the mighty Pussy Melter. We have seen so many comparably named items on their website for sale, yet they have decided to just ban our pedal from being sold there? If we’ve learned anything from this whole situation, selling your shit at garage sales is way cooler!”

Steel Panther are currently dabbling between touring in support of their latest release, Lower the Bar, and finishing up a new album. See their upcoming dates here.
