Babymetal may have added a new member to their backing band — Chad-metal! The Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer joined Babymetal onstage to jam the Judas Priest classics “Painkiller” and “Breaking the Law.”

You may remember Babymetal taking the stage with Rob Halford at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards. Fans ended up loving the metal god jamming with the disciples of the fox god, so Babymetal whipped out the “Painkiller”/“Breaking the Law” medley one more time while opening for RHCP at London’s O2 Arena.

Closing out their set, Babymetal brought out Chad Smith, who was dressed in a white robe and white face paint like Babymetal’s Kami Band. Smith took his spot behind the kit and kicked off “Painkiller” before Su-metal launched into Halford’s vocals.

The show actually marked the 19th birthday of Su-metal, so Chad Smith surprised the Babymetal frontwoman with a birthday cake onstage. The crowd serenaded Su-metal with “Happy Birthday” as she blew out her candles.
