According to a medical examiner’s report, Rudy Eugene was not under the influence of bath salts during the attack on Ronald Poppo on May 26.

The toxicology results released by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner states Eugene had traces of marijuana in his system, but did not find any other drugs, alcohol, or prescription drugs. Bath salts were originally suspected to have caused the incident because Eugene’s behavior was so abnormal, yet indicative of bath salt abuse.

Well, that’s one serious case of the munchies. I’m not saying Poppo had a deliciously enticing face, but most people just eat Cheetos. The victim survived the attack, although I’m pretty sure I’m much rather die. He continues to recover and is undergoing therapy. If you have the stomach for it, check out the first released photos of Pappo’s face, but I’m warning you - it’s really gross.

Look, I told you zombies were coming. That’s why I listed out those 4 safe-ish places to be during a zombie apocalypse.
