New Yorkers are no strangers to Aussie metalers Parkway Drive. Fans packed into PlayStation Theater in New York City for a memorable show in support of the band's latest album Ire.

Parkway Drive kicked off their set with the new track aptly named “Crushed,” setting the tone for the evening.  Other new tunes in their set included “Vice Grip” and “Writings on the Wall.”

Despite battling an ear infection, frontman Winston McCall powered through and delivered intensity onstage. Last time we saw guitarist Jeff Ling he was wheeling about onstage at a sold out Irving Plaza in a wheelchair. This time he was providing out riffs without the wheels. Crowdsurfers and diehard fans lost their minds to older anthems “Carrion,” “Sleepwalker,” “Dark Days” and “Wild Eyes” just to name a few. With sweat soaked bodies and sore necks, fans finished out the night rocking to the new hard hitting tracks “Destroyer” and “Bottom Feeder.”

We Came As Romans took the stage beforehand with an energetic set. The band is currently touring in support of their latest self-titled release.  Canadian band Counterparts have been stellar support throughout the tour.
