Nita Strauss Announces Headlining Tour + Dates With John 5, Fozzy
Ahead of the vinyl release of her recent solo album, Controlled Chaos, Nita Strauss will set out on an expansive North American tour starting this spring. She'll be supporting John 5 at the San Diego date of his Invasion 2019 Tour, and the trek includes handful of dates with Fozzy and Paul Gilbert as well.
Controlled Chaos, first released last year, showcased the Alice Cooper guitarist's talents. "From bright and fun to aggressive and dark, from peaceful to chaotic, this album is a way for me to give the listener a glimpse into my personality and what goes on inside my mind," she said at the time of its release.
The vinyl edition will be available on April 12 in a variety of colors. Pre-order the yellow with black splatter variant exclusively from the guitarist's website, and get the clear vinyl with black and gold splatter variant only from Sumerian Records. Regular retail outlets will have a red vinyl version, with another colored version stocked exclusively at Guitar Center.
Earlier this year, Strauss sat down to discuss some of her favorite guitar riffs for an edition of Gear Factor. Watch the video below, and get all the tour dates after the clip.
