Nike’s new video montage honoring the late Kobe Bryant inspiring us to, “Just be better”, is exactly the kind of uplifting we need right now.

Nike is celebrating what would have been Kobe Bryant’s 42 birthday with a 90-sec video montage which is narrated by rapper Kendrick Lamar. The video features intimate family moments, highlights of his career, including other prolific athletes urging us all to “Just be better”.

The late NBA Star was known for his relentless drive on and off the court, his dedicated work ethic, and his commitment to improving every element of his game and his personal life. The moving and rousing video perfectly encapsulates Kobe’s Mamba Mentality of getting up and working every day to be better than the day before.

Fans across the globe including in El Paso were shocked to hear the news of Kobe Bryant's death. Bryant along with his daughter Gianna and seven other passengers died in a helicopter accident on January 26, 2020. On Sunday, August 23, 2020, Kobe Bryant would have celebrated his 42 birthday. Coincidentally, 42, which if inverted reads 24, Kobe’s last jersey number before retiring.
