Language is an every evolving thing. It adapts to many things, including pop-culture. I get it. I understand it. But I don't always like it. They changed the damn definition of the word 'literally' because people LITERALLY couldn't use the f***ing word correctly. But anyway, here are some of the new words and definitions added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

  • Pregame - To begin drinking alcohol before an event or activity, such as a party or a night out.
  • Froyo - Frozen yogurt. (Whatever happened to calling this FroGurt, like the creepy guy from the Treehouse of Horrors episode where Homer buys the cursed Krusty doll?)
  • Sriracha - A pungent sauce that is made from hot peppers pureed with usually garlic, sugar, salt, and vinegar, and that is typically used as a condiment.
  • Front - To assume a fake or false personality to conceal one's true identity and character.
  • Schneid - A slang term for a losing streak, as in sports.
  • Troll - To harass, criticize, or antagonize someone, especially by provocatively disparaging or mocking public statements, postings, or acts.
