Well Megadeth fans, the wait for new music will be a little longer. Though the band teased a big announcement coming this week with a brief video of old fighter planes dropping bombs and the beginnings of a song, the clip was meant to hype a new greatest hits collection and not a brand new track.

Megadeth have revealed that they are planning to release a new collection titled Warheads on Foreheads that's due on March 22. The set features 35 remastered tracks handpicked by Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine.

While the track listing has yet to be revealed, an impressive album cover was issued in coordination with the greatest hits announcement. Check out that image below.

Pre-orders for Warheads on Foreheads will begin via Megadeth's own Cyber Army fan club on Jan. 25.

Megadeth are working toward their follow-up to the Dystopia album and will be hitting the road later this year. The band will serve as direct support to Ozzy Osbourne on his "No More Tours 2" tour leg starting May 29 in Atlanta. See all of the scheduled dates here.
