Korn guitarists James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch have commented on the death of frontman Jonathan Davis' wife, Deven. In a heartfelt Instagram post Munky wrote, "Our prayers are with the Davis family at this difficult time. Jonathan, your wife will no longer suffer [from] all of the demons. She is now with God. May she rest in peace and may you trust that me, your band [and] our families are here for you and will together help you and your boys to heal. We love you so much."

Head shared a re-posted photo, which read, "Love, prayers for my bro, my homie Jonathan Davis and his family." He later shared another picture of a heart shattering into pieces and captioned it with a broken heart emoji.

Deven died this past Friday (Aug. 17). A press statement confirmed her passing, which read, "The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy—and the privacy of those close to the family—and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time."

TMZ reports that Jonathan Davis filed for divorce from Deven in 2016, and that he filed a domestic violence restraining order against her on Friday (Aug. 17). It reportedly would have blocked her from custody of their children, as well as visitation privileges. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed. She was 39 years old.
