Metalcore juggernauts Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive could be embarking on a North American trek in 2019. The PRP recently ran a report pointing out that both groups have been announced for the Sunday date of So What Music Festival on April 28, which follows the previous announcement that they will also be performing at Ufest in Arizona on April 20.

Additionally, the two groups will embark on a tour of Europe and the UK in January, with support from deathcore group Thy Art Is Murder. The trio also toured Australia together in late October/early November.

Parkway Drive are out in support of their most recent studio album, Reverence, which was released earlier this year via Epitaph. Killswitch, on the other hand, are set to release a new record in 2019. It is set to feature a highly anticipated track with former vocalist Howard Jones.

2019 is shaping up to be a huge year for rock and metal. With names such as Slipknot, Rammstein, Deftones and (hopefully) Tool, among others, set to release new music, a tour such as this on top of it all will only make the year that much more significant.
