Ok so if i’m being honest, I AM NOT READY FOR SUMMER TO BE OVER!! *Cries in Spanish* But here I am… writing articles about going back-to-school!!

While some El Paso-area students will return to the classroom before August even begins, others won't head back until the first week of the month, making now the perfect time to start preparing.

Along with buying school supplies, parents are also checking class schedules, completing registration and making sure their children are ready for the first day of school and we are here to help you plan ahead with a look at important first day of school dates!

El Paso-Area School District Back-to-School Dates

All back-to-school dates and times are shared on each school districts website so make sure to double check for any changes!

San Elizario ISD

• First day of school: Tuesday, July 21
• Elementary: 7:20 a.m. – 4:05 p.m.
• Middle School: 8:05 a.m. – 4:50 p.m.
• High School: 8:05 a.m. – 4:50 p.m.

Socorro ISD

• First day of school: Monday, July 27
• Elementary: 7:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Middle School: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• High School: 8:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Clint ISD

• First day of school: Monday, July 27
• Elementary: 7:20 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Middle School: 8:30 a.m. – 3:50 p.m.
• High School: 8:30 a.m. – 4:05 p.m.

Tornillo ISD

• First day of school: Monday, July 27
• Elementary: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• First day of school: Tuesday, July 28
• Elementary: 7:30 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.

• First day of school: Monday, Aug. 3
• Elementary: 8:15 a.m. – 3:25 p.m.

• First day of school: Monday, Aug. 3
