H-E-B Soup Sold In Texas Recalled Over Issue With Undisclosed Dairy
Everybody in the state of Texas needs to eat everyday. We all have our favorite types of food to eat too. But, if you recently bought this type of food from H-E-B, you need to return it as soon as possible.
Certain Type Of H-E-B Soup Under Recall
According to the U.S Food and Drug Administration, the recall began on December 10th, 2025. Bakkavor USA, located in North Carolina was the creator of the product in question, Red Lentil Dal Soup. The brand is known as Meal Simple, and was available to customers at H-E-B in Texas from 11/3/2025 to 12/8/2025.

What caused the recall is that an unidentified consumer noticed the soup with the label Red Lentil Dal Soup had turkey and rice in it. The product inside the container was actually Turkey & Wild Rice Soup, which contains dairy inside of it. The Red Lentil Dal Soup is not supposed to have dairy included in it, nor is it mentioned on the ingredient list.

What A Texan Should Do If They Bought The Recalled Product
First, a person in Texas should not eat the soup in question. If they have an allergy to milk and eat the soup, it could trigger a deadly allergic reaction. Instead, the person should check the product's best by date, which is 1/11/2026.
If a person has the pulled item, they should go back to the H-E-B they bought the item from so they can get a full refund for the item. As this a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
