I’m not exactly sure why people who are not from Texas think that when you are greeted here in the great state you’re going to hear words like Howdy y’all? Even though I think that some of the stereotypes are hilarious about Texans, it’s really unbelievable what can come out of people's mouths.

I’ve heard people from other states truly think that we don’t even ride actual automobiles here in the great state, they think that horses are a Texan form of transportation, and for some Texans that could be true, but for most of us we live in the 21st-century, so cars do is just fine, like every other part of the world.

You’re not gonna see a lot of cowboy boots and hoedowns in the Lone Star State like in the movies but one thing that definitely possible is hearing the Texas slogan. According to Coldwell Banker, the unofficial slogan, has been "Don’t mess with Texas" since 1985. The rest of the country thinks it was just a catchphrase, but true Texans know it’s part of an anti-littering campaign.
