Tax day is upon us here in Texas, which means if you haven't filed those bad boys yet, today is the day. Whether you're getting a refund or you owe the IRS more money, you have to file those taxes or risk penalties.

Now, there's a good chance if you owe them, you're going to be asking for an extension on them, and that's ok, it's why it's there. Point blank, today can be the most stressful day of the year for many.

There are a lot of businesses in Texas that recognize this, and they want to make sure they're taking care of you. So here's a list of just a few places that have decided to cut you a break and give you a heck of a deal for the day.

BURGER KING

Feeling hungry but just paid Uncle Sam an inordinate amount of money? Burger King has you covered. If you're a member of their Royal Perks program, they're hooking you up with a 1-cent cheeseburger.

There is a $1 minimum purchase required in order to get it, but hey, you need a drink to wash it down, right? If you're not a member of their rewards program, join it and take advantage of this deal.

Looking to bulk up your points in the Freddy's app? Well, today is your lucky day. You can rack up double rewards points today only, and we all know how hard it can be to get those rewards points sometimes.

There is a $1 minimum purchase, but hey, take the family out for dinner tonight and earn those freebies faster.

HOOTERS

Looking to unwind after writing that big check? Hooters is a great place to do that, even without a deal to be had. Well, Hooters is still giving you that deal. They'll have appetizers available for just $4.15 for the entire day.
