North Texas Foodies, These 4 Restaurants Just Landed on Yelp’s Top 100

Those of us here in North Texas know there are more than a few great restaurants in our neck of the woods. So, I wasn’t shocked when I saw that North Texas is well represented on Yelp’s list of the Top 100 restaurants in the U.S. for 2026. 

I’m quick to admit to being a creature of habit and tend to frequent the places I know I like. And yes, I tend to stick to my two to three favorites on the menu. That said, I’m always on the lookout for a new favorite.

I also love to go day tripping. I don’t hate staying in hotels or vacation rentals, but I tend to not sleep well in them. For me, there’s nothing like sleeping in my own bed. That’s why most of the road trips I take are right here in the confines of North Texas. 

Of course, being a total foodie, I’m looking to try the best restaurants in town when I visit a new locale. I know some disagree, but I’ve found Yelp to be a consistently reliable source for trying new restaurants. So, if you’re like me, add these four North Texas restaurants to your road trip bucket list.
