I love everything about the video at the end of this article. Look, I realize that tow truck drivers have a job to do. And if someone has fallen behind on their vehicle payments, the loaning institution has every right to repossess their property.

But we don't know if that's what is actually happening here. This could be someone who was parked illegally or forgot to feed the meter, which, to me, isn't a towable offense. Either way, watching someone escape a tow is just good, clean fun.

Dallas Driver Escapes Tow Truck Using Sidewalk as Road

There are a bunch of videos out there where someone is getting their car towed, and the owner of the vehicle jumps into the driver's seat once the tow truck already has the clamps on it. And those videos always end with the tow truck driver "winning."

This one has a new twist I've never witnessed before. This rascal was able to get in their car prior to it getting locked in, but it was blocked from driving away by the tow truck itself.

But this was a big brain moment for the driver. This fool decided to drive up on the sidewalk and slowly drive away. Genius. My only problem with this video is the same problem I have with all of these eye-witness recordings. They always end too early!

I need to know if the driver escaped. Record longer, people!
