Join the 23rd Annual Top Gun Classic Sporting Clays Shoot

The 23rd Annual Top Gun Classic Sporting Clays Shoot is set for Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Abilene Clay Sports South Range (1102 Beltway South, Abilene). This event brings together shooters of all skill levels for a weekend of sporting clays, cash prizes, dinner, and auctions, all benefiting the West Texas Rehab Center (WTRC).

Why This Event Matters

I’ve supported this event and the West Texas Rehab Center for 23 years. Every year, I interview Karla Brown on my radio show to help raise awareness and money. The Rehab Center helps people of all ages, from physical therapy and rehabilitation to hospice care. One story that stands out is a man who lost both legs and had to learn to walk again with prosthetics, all thanks to the rehab center (see the video below). This event makes a real difference in the lives of Texans.

Event Details

Clay Shoot

• Dates: Friday, April 4 & Saturday, April 5, 2025
• Location: Abilene Clay Sports South Range (1102 Beltway South)
• Shoot Times:
  • Friday: 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM, 11 AM, and 2 PM
• Limited Spots: Each rotation is limited to 100 shooters
• Entry Fee: $195 per shooter
  The competition is open to men, women, and juniors.

Dinner, Entertainment & Auctions

After the shoot, join us Saturday evening for dinner, entertainment, and auctions.

• Location: Capital Farm Credit Building at the Taylor County Expo grounds (1700 TX-36)
• Doors Open: 6:30 PM
• Catering: Texas Roadhouse
• Entertainment: Abby French
• Silent Auction: Opens Wednesday, March 12, and runs until 9 PM on April 5, 2025
