WalletHub compared all 50 states, plus Washington D.C. using various metrics measuring accessibility to healthcare and according to the survey, Texas ranked as the 8th worst state in the nation.

Texas Growth

With a population of 30 million people, and growing, Texas is one of the most populous states in the U.S. Big business continues to come to the Lone Star State providing more jobs and bringing with them even more people. More people equals more families which in return equals the need for quality health care.

Keep in mind that the COVID-19 numbers continue to fluctuate and the rise in monkeypox cases has people paying closer attention to their overall health. The need for quality health care is growing not just in Texas, but across the country.
