Gillespie County Horse Races Start July 3rd & 4th

This Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd and 4th is the starting weekend for another exciting season of Pari-Mutuel horse racing at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds for 2021.

It's a great getaway to go to Fredericksburg any time and enjoy all that the City has to offer from shopping to dining, drinking and so much more. It's an especially exciting experience to go when their Pari-Mutuel Horse Racing season is underway. Enjoy four big weekends of exciting live horse racing at the Fairgrounds.

The Gillespie County Fairgrounds have a really nice Class 3 Track offering you live Quarter Horse & Thoroughbred Racing plus special races, trials and futurities.

Be sure to check out the Race Barn which is open Thursday through Sunday and has 30 Television Screens which simulcast Horse & Greyhound Racing you can enjoy and wager on as the races are being held at the nation's top tracks across the country, all while enjoying a full bar and casual dining. The Race Barn is located on South Highway 16 at the entrance to the Fairgrounds. For more information visit www.theracebarn.com.

Gates open at 11am and Post Time is at 1pm

General Admission is $10 per person

Children (6-12) are $5

under 5 are free
