So much for my Jim Harbaugh to the Cowboys thoughts. I just wrote that blog less than a couple hours ago, Seriously, you can find it by CLICKING HERE.

Well, we already have a new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Jay Glazer was the first to report the signing and he added that a press conference would be coming later this week.

McCarthy was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers from 2006 to 2018. While he did lead the Packers to a Super Bowl title over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010. BUT, he had Aaron Rodgers for his entire time in Green Bay, and that was his only Super Bowl appearance. Based on that, I would say his time in Green Bay wasn't quite up to the standards it should have been.

McCarthy was let go by the Packers in the middle of the season in 2018, and did interview for some other jobs last off season. He declined an interview with Arizona, declined the job in Cleveland, but did go after the New York Jets job which ultimately went to Adam Gase.
