It was being reported yesterday that Dak Prescott had turned a deal from the Dallas Cowboys that would have paid him an average of $30 million a year. Now we're getting conflicting reports about him wanting $40 million a year.

The first report comes from Jane Slater of the NFL Network, saying that Dak is indeed looking for a contract that would pay him $40 million annually.

But shortly after that report came out, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio tweeted out:

There's a lot that can be unraveled when it comes to the potential contract for Dak Prescott.

  • How many years?
  • How much guaranteed money?
  • What's the average annual salary?

These are the main questions that need to be answered, especially when you look at contracts of quarterbacks like Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz.

As of now Cowboy fans are in the same place as yesterday. Waiting to see if the team is able to sign Dak, Zeke and Amari.
