I had the opportunity to catch up with and interview Josh Ward who will be playing the Cinch Roping Fiesta this Saturday with Special guest Triston Marez.

Adding a concert to the Cinch Roping Fiesta is new for 2021 and a lot of fans are excited about Josh Ward along with opening act Triston Marez playing a full blown concert after the match roping on Saturday.

I interviewed Josh Ward and talked about the show and what to expect. We talked about the success of his albums to this point and how he is now touring all over the country. After touring the West Coast a couple of years ago with Cody Johnson and receiving a big welcome from fans, he decided to tour the West Coast again headlining sold out shows.

We talked about his current single "Lovin' Where It's Goin" which is the title cut to his upcoming album. He told us about what to expect on the album and when he expects to release it.

We even talked about his love for hunting and fishing, having won numerous fishing tournaments and even a bass boat.

Of course I ask him how he was healing up after a life threatening horse riding accident back in early August and he brought us up to date.

Be sure to get your reserved tickets for Saturday's roping competition and the concert all included in the price of your reserved ticket.

Please take a moment to listen to the interview below and get ready for all of the fun on Saturday with the Match Roping between Shad Mayfield and Tuf Cooper followed by this great concert!

LOOK: Here are the best lake towns to live in

Many of the included towns jump out at the casual observer as popular summer-rental spots--the Ozarks' Branson, Missouri, or Arizona's Lake Havasu--it might surprise you to dive deeper into some quality-of-life offerings beyond the beach and vacation homes. You'll likely pick up some knowledge from a wide range of Americana: one of the last remaining 1950s-style drive-ins in the Midwest; a Florida town that started as a Civil War veteran retirement area; an island boasting some of the country's top public schools and wealth-earners right in the middle of a lake between Seattle and Bellevue; and even a California town containing much more than Johnny Cash's prison blues.
