Blue Bell Ice Cream announced via its Facebook Page that a Texas favorite flavor has made its return to the freezer isle of your favorite grocery store.

The Scoop

According to the Facebook post, "Cookies ‘n Cream Cone is a creamy vanilla ice cream combined with chocolate crème filled cookie crumbles, chocolate cone pieces coated in dark chocolate and a chocolate fudge sauce. Your favorite cookie cone, but in a carton! Available in the half gallon and pint sizes for a limited time."

Welcome Back

Cookies ‘n Cream Cone made its debut almost a year ago, hitting the freezer aisle in February 2021. It's didn't stay for long, and its return is being billed as "for a limited time". That means NOW would be  a great time to pick up a pint or half gallon.

A Winning Combination

Maybe it's just the time of the season, but there's just something delicious about vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate crème filled cookie crumbles and chocolate cone pieces coated in dark chocolate. Add a chocolate fudge sauce and STEP BACK! It's ice cream time.

The People Have Spoken

Looks like everybody is on board, judging by the Facebook Comments following the announcement.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
