I am not an advocate of voting based on party. So, that obviously includes using the "straight-party" selection when you're voting. I think you should look at each candidate for who they are and what they stand for. Unfortunately, most people won't do that.

However, I do feel obligated to tell you of an error that is being reported from early voters. Some people are claiming that when they choose the "straight-party" selection for Democrat, everything comes up fine except for the Senate race. Rather than Beto O'Rourke's name being selected, Ted Cruz was popping up.

This isn't happening at the beginning either. Everything supposedly looks fine, up until the final screen when you can review your choices. That's when Cruz's name comes up as selected.

This isn't being reported with everyone who votes with the "straight-party" option, but there are people making these claims. Your best bet to avoid this? Double and triple check your selections before you send off your votes.
