For those wanting an exciting alternative to the mundane red roses and chocolates of a traditional Valentine's date, the Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth is announcing a special "Twisted Love" candlelight Valentine's fright night.

Guests will explore the "World's Largest Haunted House" lit only by candlelight, adding a little horror to holiday known more for romance than blood-curling fear.

"Haunted houses aren't just for Halloween anymore," explains Cutting Edge owner Todd James. "Valentine's Day has become a hot trend among haunted attractions from coast to coast."

"Sometimes guys surprise their date by blindfolding them, putting them in a limo, and bringing them here for the ultimate Valentine's heart-stopping date. What's more romantic that clinging to your date for dear life?"

"It's a 'jilted zombie' theme," says James. "The actors and actresses are dressed in prom and wedding attire. It's pure hair-raising, spine-tingling terror."

Located in a 100-year-old abandoned meatpacking plant in a section of Fort Worth historically dubbed as "Hell's Half Acre," the Cutting Edge Haunted House is built upon a foundation of fear. The old meatpacking plant is the perfect home for horror. The Guinness World Record for largest haunted house has helped to solidify its reputation as one of the best haunted attractions in the country.
